Rest In Perfect Peace

Hey Saints!

We have completed one full week of 2019! With only ten days into the year there seem to be a lot of controversy issues going on in the world, from government, to music, entertainment and more. The bible tells us in Isaiah 26:3 You(God) will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you! God calls us to totally rely on Him with our mind, because He is the everlasting strength that we can trust in.

The battle to trust the Lord in every area of our lives begins in our mind. When we trust God it will show in our actions, but it first starts with our thoughts in our mind. All of God’s promises are Yes and Amen in Him, we can receive the promise of  His perfect peace in and around us when we choose to keep our mind stayed on Him. All of who we are, what we do and what we have is established, sustained and upheld by the Lord when we trust Him with our whole heart. It is expressed in Proverbs 3:5-6 to Trust in the Lord with all of our heart and lean(trust) not our own understanding(thoughts, mind) In all our ways(keep our thoughts on Him) acknowledge Him and he will direct our path.

Almost always, you keep your mind stayed on  whatever you are trusting. The enemy loves to get our mind on anything but the Lord! We can not have perfect peace when our mind stays on our own problems and the problems of this world. To have and be kept in this perfect peace, your mind cannot occasionally come to the LORD; it has to be stayed, fixed, set on Him.

Wow, What a promise! Perfect Peace! God promises that we can have perfect peace, and even be kept in a place of perfect peace. Trusting God is not so much a issue of our spirit or of our soul or of our heart. It is a matter of our mind. We are to love the LORD our God with all of our mind (Matthew 22:37). We are transformed by the renewing of your mind (Romans 12:2). We can have the mind of Christ(1 Corinthians 2:16Philippians 2:5). We are not to set our mind on earthly things (Philippians 3:19), but to set our mind on things above(Colossians 3:2).

Our Father in heaven desires for us to know Him and live our lives in Him. It is in the presence of God where we can experience and be kept in a place of Perfect Peace. I welcome you to click the link below to join your faith with mine to Trust God totally!
